East of Eden

Gentlemen,

I'm feeling like a Japanese yakiniku barbeque for this months meeting.  Weather permitting, we'll do it in my backyard.  I'll provide the meat and the rice and the raw eggs.  If others could bring some of the following, that would be great.  Everything should be pretty thinly sliced.

- cucumbers
- onions
- carrots
- bean sprouts
- anything else that would be good grilled
- beverage
- dessert/snacks

Meet at my place at 7pm on Thurs.  Email me if you don't know the address.

In solidarity,

Brandon

  1. I will bring cucumbers and onions--yellow onions right? I will be riding my horse over too.

  2. Sounds like a good time. I'll be grilling steak over an open fire watching the stars come out in Arches, but I'm sure to think about the group as well. I really would like to talk about Steinbeck more to help gain a better appreciation for him and his writing. Maybe all I really need is deeper understanding. Anyway, hope you all have a great time. See you in November (Twain; what a guy).
